No plan survives first contact with a customer.
Google assumes plans have to change regularly. They embrace the need for flexibility, and opt for a stable strategy instead. The strategy by Google combines product excellence, with a drive to gather users. The revenue model is secondary, on the assumption that a product that has users will at some point attain a revenue model. Last, Google believes it is important to know what the competition does, but not to follow them.
The Google strategy is, together with its’ culture, part of the solid foundation under Google innovative activities.
